Morning All

Hope you all know what i'm talking about when i say theres a plant(its name i cant mention on here) but some people smoke this plant to get high. Anyways theres an extract of this plant in an oil form that is legally obtainable in Netherlands and USA.

A segment on last nights news showed a young lad who suffers from epilepsy and is having over 20 seizures a day but after taking some of the aforementioned oil he didnt have a seizure for 27 days so im sure all on this forum wish him and his family all the best and success going forward.

My aim of this post is to bring all ppl with RA and similiar painful diseases together with one voice as this oil has tremendous pain killing properties and its something that us with pain should at the very least be offered. We all see our doctors and consultants regarding pain relief individually and invariably come away frustrated and disappointed. Individually its hard to be heard, Together as one voice we would be listened to.

I am not advocating protests or confrontation with our GP's / Consultants etc as they have to work within theit own constraints but we need to at least be beard and then some action regarding making the said oil available. We all need to speak up as one!!!

Totally agree that research and trials should be activated. The relief potential of this " Plant " has been vastly overlooked and even demonised.

In fact even this forum is scared to mention the name of this Plant..

Other countries are leading the way and no doubt the UK will embrace the potential of this plant.

It's scandalous how backward we are....

      Thankyou for your reply

We just need to get the powers that be sorting this out

And that will only happen quickly if we all join our voices as one.

Hi Gaz. My son-in-law buys this oil regularly from a high st. Health food shop. Are you located North or South of the country?. I could send you a link. It's not Holland and Barrett. When you think of the people addicted to prescription drugs such as tramadol.... makes my blood boil. This stuff is plant based and natural in it's form and really beneficial.

      Thankyou.

Hi Garry. My son-in-law has restless leg syndrome, and wrist problems. He had carpol tunnel ops in both wrists, but still suffers as he is a car mechanic. This really helps him and he suggested it to me as I have RA. Mine is pretty much controlled at the moment. I just manage on the occasional ibuprofen to assist with my weekly Embrel. But he swears by it for pain relief and quality sleep. Perhaps I can pm you?

    Hi

From what I understand from reading ( I live in the US) is that the oil is legal here. Actually I have seen ads for it in health shops.  From the info I have read I understand that the part of the drug that would cause you to become 'high' has been removed.  Therefore no reason to make it illegal.   I can't report this to be true or not true but since i see it offered in stores I assume it to be the case.     I was under the impression that the oil was to be rubbed on painful joints but someone taking it reported that you drink it and stated the taste was horrible.  But if you are in pain and you need something I am sure one is willing to give it a try

Not all states in the US allow the sale of the 'real' product    Some states allow it only for medicinal purposes and others allow for recreational use.
