    Hi  kelly65690

good to read your  post again but sad to hear you are still having trouble at work. I don't work but have you tried HR at work or going to see your GP? I am sorry i cant help you other than what i have said Surely if you had a sick note they could not do anything no matter how long you were off you would be classed as long term sick? I hope someone can help you so you take care jeanette xx

Hi Kelly. Welcome to the forum. I have had my cs since I was 30 yrs old. I am now 60 and I haven't been able to work properly since the age of 42. I have only been able to hold a job down for 4 months at the most, before I end up in absolute agony and have to come off again. The last job I had was doing voluntary work. I started there in oct 2013 and came off bad again in feb 2014. I am due to go back to see my specialist later today to discuss my options. Mine is a more complicated case of cs as I have a kind of scoliosis of the neck.

Have they ever offered surgery? I have but scares me but my Dr thinks I should do it. I'm trying other things at minute like power plates but not usingy affected areas as they vibrate all muscles and dieting in case I do need surgery. Its just a constant battle each day is so different which is why working is hard. Thanks for your advice xx
