I was wondering if it's normal that my left upper arm starting to get hard because I have sling after surgery. Is this normal? And I'm wondering why I need to wait another 4 weeks to start Physical therapy. My Doctor just want me to do 2 internal rotation movement at home on that 4 weeks. Can some please share your experience on this similar issue? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much!

Slow and steady.  Let it heal!  Ice as much as possible.  This is a long recovery/rehab hang in there.  YOU WILL BE OKAY!!

I had rotator cuff and bicep repair surgery in Aug. of 2017. I started therapy a week after my therapy; 2x a week for 6 weeks, and the another 6 more weeks which helped some. You don't want it to get stiff. While I was in the house, and just relaxing; I took the sling off, and I had to do my exercises myself 1-2x a day to keep from getting stiff or frozen. Don't get discouraged; Trust and have Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ! Praying things work out for you! Keep informed. God bless!
