100 mgs mile marker.

I have reached 4 weeks on 100 mgs sertraline. Not sure what i am even feeling. I have almost daily headaches or head pains but not sure if that is from my neck hurting or from the meds. Also a lot of cravings for sweets, ugggh, have gained only 3 pounds so far so hoping no more. Cant really explain the anxiety though. I dont have anxiety at home and i rarely go anywhere to test it out to see how i am doing, however my husband says i am very calm lately so that is good. Also have been more willing to go to a restaurant with my hubby so i guess that is good. I ask him if he notices anything different with me and he says only that i am more calm. I just got an email from my doctor after telling him that i dont feel much on this and i am afraid to increase and afraid to change it and he says he is going to take me off it! yikes! now i will be petrified of withdrawls!

    Hi Alf Alf!

Since you have been on 4 weeks mark at 100mg and still have some side effects, I would suggest you stay at this dose for a few more weeks...Let's say 2 more and re evaluate how you feel.

Your husband find you more calm so thats positive.

And you managed to go out which is good .

Dont rush into increasing too much or too fast. This dose might be the one for you. Or maybe just a bit of increase at 125mg.

Try to drink lots of water and eat more proteins so you wont run after sugar and sweets.

You can also take some good magnesium supplements like glycinate for your headaches. Its just a guess and its suppose to help with nervous system.

    Take care...
