100% WORKING TREATMENT for my IBS!

Hi, I am writing this to try to help everybody that I can because I have been on the same boat as you guys and gone through this living hell for 3 years!!!  Short description about my previous case was that I could almost eat nothing, only eat what is normally designated for IBS menu, I was always feeling that I had to go to the Bathroom, I would have IBS-D attacks daily, even taking a lot of Imodium would not work totally, painful bowel cramps, the whole works… I could go on with the list…but you guys already know what are the symptoms from personal experience.

Doctors give this autoimmune disease the name of IBS because they are totally clueless of why this happens, so they just grab all the symptoms and put them in one bag calling it IBS… to me it is just the doctors another way of saying they are clueless but they don´t want to show it to us so they won´t look bad.

Dr. Pimentel who has come up with the theory about SIBO is the cause makes me think that he is correct, this is the only one doctor that had a clue.

Now for the Treatment that I used daily :

From 10 gram to 30 grams of L-Glutamine, to repair the damaged intestinal mucosa and lining. Repairing this will block big food particles from entering the blood stream directly due to the holes in the intestinal lining cause by the bad bacteria.

12 billion Probiotic daily at least, start by using the 50 billion probiotic and then after seeing results you may try to decrease to cheaper probiotics, but don´t go below 10 billion.

Using the SIBO treatment first if desired:

Use Xifaxan ( Rifaximin) antibiotic to wipe out the bad bacteria but this will also wipe out the good bacteria ( check for Dr. Pimentel’s SIBO treatment). While you are doing this, I advise you to take probiotics daily to compensate the bacterial slaughter in the intestines. You can also start L-Glutamine ate the same time to repair the intestinal mucosa and Lining.

After the Xifaxan Treatment, keep on taking the heavy duty 50 billion probiotic daily and glutamine. After getting better, you may try to change the dosages of L-Glutamine and Probiotics and see how you adapt to lower dosages to try to save money.

Since many if not all IBS people are prone to getting E.Coli overgrowth again, you will have to keep on taking L-Glutamine and Probiotics for the rest of your life. I am on this treatment for 1 year and now I eat Pizza, Junk food, Spicy food, drink sodas and Coca-Colas and am totally normal as I was before. I will not say I am cured because it must be an auto-immune disease, but you may keep it in check and be 100% normal by just taking this for the rest of you days ( L-Glutamine and Probiotics).

I have tried previously all know medications for IBS, Antidepressants, anxiolytics , antispasmodics, tried acupuncture, etc. and I was only 30% better, because this medicines do not fix the problem, the just drug your gut to numbness…

This treatment will take around 6 months to reach 100% improvement, but you will notice improvements after 2 months, so be patient.

Good Luck to all and may god help you!

Hi - I didn't go through all replies, but has anyone had stress-induced IBS problems.  I think the main cause of my IBS and inability to eat certain foods without having GI upset was caused by severe stress in my life.  It started 6 years ago where I began to have all the bad symptoms you all mentioned here after a series of things that happened in my life.  Any stress would bring it on as well as some foods. I took probiotics for a long time but never really helped.  About 1-1/2 years ago I began the anti-FODMAP diet, it took about a month or so to feel a difference, but it helped alot.  Took some time to gradually change, I miss my some of my favorite fruits, veges and especially garlic and onions, but there are a lot on there you can eat. I began taking 2 Immodium twice a day, sometimes a few more on bad days, but that's become less, Simethicone four 125 mg in the morning (my symptoms seemed worse in the morning when I get up) and Famotidine 20 mg twice a day.  I use lactose free or low lactose foods.  I take the L-glutamine powder on and off.  It has pretty much taken care of most of the problem.  At least I can go out in public without having to worry so much most of the time.  I don't like taking the drugs Immodium and Famotodine every day, don't like taking any meds, but I'm hoping eventually I can wean off that stuff. I also tried changing my thinking with regards to stress and not dwelling on it, kind of taking charge of my mind and thoughts, and especially not dwelling on the IBS. I try to avoid thinking about it, talking about it, etc. and pretty much pretend I don't have it. That has helped too and I don't get sick from stressful situations as much anymore.  I'm trying to avoid the pattern of negative thoughts  and letting it affect my GI tract. I use meditation and a some really great books I read by Dr. Dizpensa, Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself and You are the Placebo.

Hi, i do not believe that stress is the cause, it is rather more the effect. Try my treatment throughly and not on and off. After a couple of months you should see the results. When i had ibs, the most of the doctors also said it was because of the stress. My treatment and results are proof that it is false and it is just a way for the doctors to justify it because they have no clue of the cause.

On your advice Maurice, I'm going to try taking more L-Glutamine.  I kind of stopped it because it wasn't helping, but I never took more than 5 grams a day of the powdered form, maybe will try doubling that to start out.

Ok, you do that. I have also in the begining taken the dosages that i recommend here and it also did nothing for me. I had to increase to see the results.

Correction : in the begining i have taken below the recommended dosages i recommend here and it also did nothing. I had to increase to at least 10 grams and above.

Hi, I also had similar problems. not after a nap but definitely first thing in the morning. It's getting better but it's not quite fixed. I suggest you make sure you don't eat anything at least 3 hours before sleep, and go to bed on an empty stomach (and bladder: ) ). Take the glutamine and probiotics before sleep so they act through the night, this helps me.

I just heard about bovine colostrum and its benefits for IBS -D and other gastrointestinal disorders. Has any one tried this .

Also i like to know about treating with human colostrum.

What i have been noticing that i get acidity by the end of the day. I can feel burning sensation in my food pipe and stomach. I like to know how to deal with this problem so that i can take this supplement for a longer period of time.

I have started taking this bovine colostrum 1 twice a day and it has no side effects. Hopefully it will start showing results after 10 to 15 days.

Thanks maurice for your comment. I have now started increasing my glutamine dose and the results are gradually coming in my favour, but one thing is bothering me is im putting on weight after this glutamine usage. Please let me know how can i stop this as i can see visible changes in my waist line.

Hey! Thanks for your comment! Me too!

I've been kind of surprised...Started l-glutamine and 1 full sachet of VSL3 3 months ago, with periods of great sucess and full on IBS weeks intermitently, Maurice said it was the same for him and that I should only get increasingly better .In any case, I thought L-glutamine had the awesome effect of converting fat into muscle (apart  from repairing the gut lining), as many reported on Amazon they had be losing weight and getting fitter (this is the primary supplementation cause people use L-glutamine anyway). I, on the other hand, have been putting weight very easily despite a very healthy diet and a lot of exercising. I thought this might be due to the fact that so far, due to the leaky gut and the IBS syndrome Ive been having malabsorbtion, with the corresponding improper absorbtion of fat and nutrients, while now that I m getting better Im gaining the weight of those nutrients back? Either that or more muscle weight and liquid retention (I have the feeling I have to drink a LOT of water since Im on the treatment). Im very interested in what you have to say, and what people's experience with this is. Thank you!

      oh hi ask

try 2 tablespoons of apple cyder vinegar...just for instant relief...you get a warm feeling.

the problem is low stomach acid.

the small intestine tries to push the food back into the stomach...this in turn refluxes back into the oesophagus - as the bolus has not become chyme..ie fully mixed with stomach acid...because insufficient stomach acid is being produced ...(the acid sterilises food content kills worms and parasites infection etc so protecting the gut further on)...

in the longer term betaine with HCL helps this...maybe don't take vinegar for too long ...WHILST adjusting the diet to exclude sugar (sorry!!!!!!) love liz x

Hi Lizzie, interested what you say about stomach acid.  I have hiatus hernia as well as IBS.  Tried some digestive enzymes but realised they have Betaine HCL in them so stopped taking them, as i assume this adds acid to the stomach, but with hiatus hernia there is too much acid?  Not sure if i am doing the right thing, or this is the same acid.  Maybe someone knows?
