100% WORKING TREATMENT for my IBS!

Hi, I am writing this to try to help everybody that I can because I have been on the same boat as you guys and gone through this living hell for 3 years!!!  Short description about my previous case was that I could almost eat nothing, only eat what is normally designated for IBS menu, I was always feeling that I had to go to the Bathroom, I would have IBS-D attacks daily, even taking a lot of Imodium would not work totally, painful bowel cramps, the whole works… I could go on with the list…but you guys already know what are the symptoms from personal experience.

Doctors give this autoimmune disease the name of IBS because they are totally clueless of why this happens, so they just grab all the symptoms and put them in one bag calling it IBS… to me it is just the doctors another way of saying they are clueless but they don´t want to show it to us so they won´t look bad.

Dr. Pimentel who has come up with the theory about SIBO is the cause makes me think that he is correct, this is the only one doctor that had a clue.

Now for the Treatment that I used daily :

From 10 gram to 30 grams of L-Glutamine, to repair the damaged intestinal mucosa and lining. Repairing this will block big food particles from entering the blood stream directly due to the holes in the intestinal lining cause by the bad bacteria.

12 billion Probiotic daily at least, start by using the 50 billion probiotic and then after seeing results you may try to decrease to cheaper probiotics, but don´t go below 10 billion.

Using the SIBO treatment first if desired:

Use Xifaxan ( Rifaximin) antibiotic to wipe out the bad bacteria but this will also wipe out the good bacteria ( check for Dr. Pimentel’s SIBO treatment). While you are doing this, I advise you to take probiotics daily to compensate the bacterial slaughter in the intestines. You can also start L-Glutamine ate the same time to repair the intestinal mucosa and Lining.

After the Xifaxan Treatment, keep on taking the heavy duty 50 billion probiotic daily and glutamine. After getting better, you may try to change the dosages of L-Glutamine and Probiotics and see how you adapt to lower dosages to try to save money.

Since many if not all IBS people are prone to getting E.Coli overgrowth again, you will have to keep on taking L-Glutamine and Probiotics for the rest of your life. I am on this treatment for 1 year and now I eat Pizza, Junk food, Spicy food, drink sodas and Coca-Colas and am totally normal as I was before. I will not say I am cured because it must be an auto-immune disease, but you may keep it in check and be 100% normal by just taking this for the rest of you days ( L-Glutamine and Probiotics).

I have tried previously all know medications for IBS, Antidepressants, anxiolytics , antispasmodics, tried acupuncture, etc. and I was only 30% better, because this medicines do not fix the problem, the just drug your gut to numbness…

This treatment will take around 6 months to reach 100% improvement, but you will notice improvements after 2 months, so be patient.

Good Luck to all and may god help you!

I started taking rifaximin 7 days ago, there was no point in waiting another month I think. I also reduced the amount of probiotics I was taking to half.  So now I take 50 billion probiotics with 10 gr glutamine 30 min before breakfast, 400 mg rifaximin with breakfast, 1 herbal supplement with lunch (oregano oil, pau d’arco, wormwood) which I rotate every 2 days, 10 gr glutamine 1 hour before dinner and 600 mg rifaximin with dinner. I’m still having diarrhea every day. I’m considering reducing the probiotics even more to around 15 billion or stopping them completely for the duration of the antibiotic use. Some say you need probiotics alongside the use of antibiotics. Others say that in the case of sibo, you already have too many bacteria so adding more, ever though they’re good bacteria, does more harm than good and you need probiotics only after you finish the antibiotics. That’s a tricky one. I’ll take rifaximin for 6 weeks and the herbs for 2 more weeks for a total of 2 months. After that I’ll definitely take probiotics for repopulation and glutamine of course.  Also 1.000 mg of rifaximin is sufficient or do I need more? Any suggestions?

Hi, I have a suggestion here. Take 5 grams in the morning and 5 grams in the evening of L-Glutamine. Reduce your probiotic intake to below 2 billion per capsule. If still not ok, continue with the dosage of L-Glutamine but lower the probiotic dosage per capsule futher down, check out what is the standard dosage for probiotics sold in the Pharmacies. Keep us posted after trying this for a while. Good Luck.

Hey men, interresting topic! I've got ibs C predominant, and a constant pain in my stomach that feel like inflammation. But i can more and more prevent my constipation by eating more soluble fibers, more water, psyllium, magnesium supplement etc..  But i have still pain in the gut and some problems to evacuate, i have to force sometimes and feel like i have still stools.

I have read in internet that glutamine can cause constipation, what do you think about that?? I want to try it, what product would you recommend? can i for example by glutamine powder from a musculation shop? Should i start with small doses and increase it more and more? i'm scared to take it and it will constipate me more, what do you recommend, do you think the statements that said that glutamine can constipate is true??

It make sense that the intestinal mucosa is damaged even in constipation, but we have to increase the fibers, so maybe if i eat a lot of fibers + probiotics and glutamine it will be fine???

thank you if you answer me!

Yes i also have read about glutamine and constipation, and thats why i dont dare try it!  Cant risk it being worse.  There must be something else to repair the gut.  Some fibres also make it worse, i only have flax (linseed), and also sometimes take magnesium and stool softeners.  Still not great and still have a lot of pain and inflammation, including inflamed eyes, headaches and aching limbs

Hi Bermuda, you can always try making bone broth. That contains a lot of minerals and glutamine. Cabbage juice is good for healing things like ulcers etc

are you drinking enough plain filtered water bermuda? my weakness...so think i'll just go and down a few glasses (only water ...don't worry!!) xx

      hi anastasia

i'm aware of both of these and how helpful they are...but have been wondering about a recomendation for vegan/veges....any ideas?

eg whether cabbage juice might help to heal the damaged villi of the ileum.

Hi Liz, hmm that's a tricky one. You could take l-glutamine supplement. That's another way of doing it and may even be quicker??

lol seems like IBS D or IBS A is more easy to cure than IBS C. WHile you have to repair the gut for IBS C you also have to increase your fibres intake to can actually go to the toilets lol and at the same time the fibers are irritating a lote more your intestines. If you take glutamine, it seems like your constipation gets worse so.. Lol

While you have diarhea you just have to take a lot of probiotics and a lot of glutamine, damn this is really not so hard to get rid of this shiet lol

Hi, since I had IBS-D I cannot respond to your question 100% but in my opinion, you will have to start with low dosages of L-Glutamine and build your way up while your body is ok with it. Taking laxative supplements to be able to go around the possible ( but not certain) side effects of constipation in my opinion are not a bad thing. Taking laxative supplements that irritate the bowel is like keeping probably a wound open, but don´t forget that the wound is created by the bad bacteria which has to be eliminated first. After erasing the root cause of that wound  ( bacteria that create your IBS-C) there may be the possibility that your IBS-C will decrease and that taking L-Glutamine will be ok to increase to cure the bowel walls. So my opinion is to attack the bacteria with Antibiotic, then take probiotics and increase slowly L-Glutamine while your IBS-C is ok with it. This may sound tricky, but in theory, it is worth a shoot in my opinion. Good luck and keep us posted.

or maybe if i just take magnesium in quasi - laxatives doses ( like citrate magnesium at night before bed, like 400 mg) and take L glutamine it will do the trick , might try, lol..

Hi, it is normal to have ups and downs in the initial phase of the treatment. Just hang on and continue, you will get there after a while, it can take months like my case.
