10mg Amlodipine and stomach cancer

This is my personal opinion and assumption which in no way has been proved medically.

However.

I have recently spoken to 6 out of 7 people or relatives of people who had/have non hodkin large B cell lymphoma which is an agressive blood cancer who coincidentally were taking the 10mg tablet and experiencing long term side effects such as bloating, wind, constant smelly burps, finally weird pains in stomach or near, diarrhea, black.tarry stools (internal bleeding). Then checked at hospital to find they had ulcers, masses in stomach which were cancerous or linked to h hpylori bacteria. Blood disorder is listed as a side effect(read into this what you will)

My nieces husband is a Dr. I phoned him and he said there is no truth in this whatsoever. He said like with all drugs you can get side affects that affect some people more than others. Many people do not get any side affects. Please don't stop taking this without consulting your Dr. High blood pressure can lead to heart attack and strokes.

Hi Amanda - Oh my, that is truly terrible!  Thank you though for bringing this to my attention.  If this in fact has caused people to develop this horrible condition, then why is this drug still being prescribed? This drug needs to be banned, it's just awful!

I am now 50 days off the drug and I wish I could report that I feel good, but I really still do not feel my old self.  After dealing with stomach issues most of the week, today I feel like someone vacuumed my brains out & then there is the ongoing joint pain in the elbow and shoulder and hands can no longer grip anything.  I do feel better than when I was on the drug, but just not even close to 100% - thanks for your reply -

    Amanda,

I look at cigarettes. Even though for DECADES,..common sense evidence ...by users showed that cancer showed up a lot more times in people who smoked,-many so called "health professionals" simply denied it saying, well it can cause a cough..Finally, after 50 YEARS of warnings the "independent researchers" came out  showing without a doubt the truth. MY Point is ...you have to observe on your own (via internet ..common sense etc..) Its not easy to express a theory that may not be embraced..but that does NOT mean that you don't have the right to bring that information out in the open for discussion..Please continue to be on the forefront any observations for review.
