10mg increased to 20mg

Hello to all,  I had been on 10mg for 4 weeks with no notable changes.  Dr has increased dosage to 20 mg and now all I want to do is sleep.  Question is this a normal reaction to the increase?

    Yes for the first few days/weeks it is any longer and go back to gp but u should adjust

    Yes this is one of the side effects of citalopram with some people, but this does subside after you have been on them so long.  This is why it is better to take these anti depressents at night, before you go to bed and  not during the day, especially if you are going to drive or any other activity where this would be dangerous. Hope this helps
