Hi there, I’ve been on fluoxetine for a few months now an also experienced this initially, it did pass for me and the benefits of the drug now definitely outweigh the side effects I had. Stick with it a while longer, maybe try taking your dose at a different time of the day to try and aid sleep a little more? I wish you all the best.

Hi Dana- I had horrific anxiety from it and had to get off..just couldn't handle it. Hopefully, your experience will be more like louise's. Good luck to you. :-)

I didn’t start anything else. Too scared. My anxiety was unbelievable. Didn’t sleep for 2 days and couldn’t sit still.. literally paced for hours on end. Hope your experience is better!!!

    Hello,

Yup! same thing happened to me in the beginning. I felt my kinda tingly or something internally. The mornings are always the worse for me. I think that side effect started going away after about 3 weeks or so for me. It is really annoying all the side effects that Flu can bring, but after the medication starts working, things become better.

I hope you start feeling better soon 😃

It was the same for me during the first few weeks. It felt like I'd had far too much coffee, but that gradually faded over time. I still feel it a little, but can't tell if I got used to it or it's far milder. Either way it isn't a problem any more,
