11 weeks post Rotator Cuff Repair and clavicle clean up. How much pain should I be in?

As stated above am in my 11 weeks post surgery. Last couple of days has been really painful especially mid to lower shoulder blade area, which I think is the the rotator muscle. Have had physical therapy 5 times and my range is about half way. Terrified that something isn't right with the repair.  Waiting to hear back from surgeon's office as he is not easily accessible. I've been faithful to PT at home as well as ice packs and heat. My range of motion is maybe half way. But with the pain am so worried that something went wrong at some point, no matter how careful I've been.  Is light massage ok in the painful areas too? I don't think I can go through another surgery. How soon should ask for another MRI? I read horror stories on this site and am trying not to get anxious and depressed. Words of wisdom most appreciated!

I  12 weeks and still have pain.  It's more of an aching though.  Sometimes I get twinges also.   I'm  thinking you are on track, but if you feel worried call your ortho.  Are you taking anything for the pain?

Thanks for responding.  Today am doing better, although I have a call out to my Dr. Still waiting.  I have no pain meds at the moment other than Ibuprofen, so hoping they will authorize a prescription. Will take it easy today and see how it goes, thanks so much for the encouragement.
