12 months no period

Hi all you lovely ladies
I have gone 12 months this month without a period and would like someone that has also gone 12 months or more for some help as to what I'm feeling is normal. For a while now I have not been feeling myself I have been getting the following.
Flushes/flashes without sweating
Dizzy spells, sometimes to the point where I feel like I'm floating
Weird shaky sensation internally
Fuzzy head,a bit like I'm not quite with it
Eye pain at the back of my eyes
For about 4 months I had a pain in my right upper arm that I got a stinging feeling in if I tried to reach back or up but that has wore off now
I have been diagnosed with Diverticulitis but when I read the symptoms of this they aren't any of the above.
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do now that I have gone a year without a period and I'm hoping that this is not going yo go on forever.
your help, advice and experiences would be truely appreciated.

Hey Bevvy..
12 consecutive months without a period is post menopause. I've been post-menopausal for four years, and it has been HELL on earth! Contrary to popular relief, the symptoms do not subside, and you will NOT feel better! The symptoms get WORSE! Postmenopause has brought me soooo... much pain & anguish, below are the symptoms I've been experiencing, since my period ceased:
The best advice I can give you is this, Bevvy: Be very kind to yourself, and do the things that bring you COMFORT & JOY! Menopause does not go away quietly, and it lasts 20 plus years, if not more!! How VERY sad is that? So figure out how you can get through this tsunami in one peace and with your SANITY in tact!

Hello C14889..
I am 58 y.o. Ive been post menopausal for four years. My symptoms got WORSE once my period started! As you are fully aware there are three meno trios, C14.. They are:
That being said, my perimenopausal journey started at 42. The symptoms were mild to severe, the intensity of them would fluctuate. I've been dealing with the trios now, for 16 years, consecutively. Now that I'm in FULL BLOWN POST-MENOPAUSE, my symptoms have gotten WORSE! Many women are told their symptoms would get better in this last stage or even subside, yet I have not experienced that; again, my symptoms got WORSE!! It's like being in a non-stop TSUNAMI!! I eat well, exercise, take high-end vitamins, visit the doctor regularly, etc... yet, I am CONVINCED, menopause FORCES its way through everything!!🤦 We are experiencing HELL on earth; it does NOT go away quietly! The symptoms are relentless and are debilitating! Somedays, I can't explain how I'm feeling; this Sugar Honey Ice Tea will have you numb, lifeless, and silent! It is absolutely horrific; I will NOT sugar coat these trios! The RAGE is off the charts! Whatever you do C14... please STAY hydrated!! Be well, my menopausal sistah!

I agree with everyone else here. It doesn't get better. Just when you think that you're feeling great, maybe it's over and you may be back to "normal", it all comes back with a vengeance. So for the last 11 years I have had overall body aches, stabbing pain in hips, gum issues/numb tongue, on/off blurry vision in one eye, shaky legs when walking, cold hands/feet, hot flashes, stomach issues, fatigue, creepy crawlies in head, numb arm and hand (right side), headaches, nausea, angry days........ I was peri for almost 10 years. I haven't had a period for 1 year, 7 months. I'm 51.........and yes, I've been to the ER several times (thinking that I was having a heart attack/stroke) to be told that I was basically losing my mind.
