12 weeks, is there no end to my suffering

12 weeks on 150 mg and intrusive thoughts, anxiety still lurking, even on good days. I'm probably 60% better than I was 12 weeks ago. I still get the feeling of dread at least once every day, feeling sad, not looking forward to anything good in my life, etc. Am I missing something here? I've had some really good days throughout my struggle with sertraline but this past 1-1/2 weeks has been the same every single day-sad, scared, no excitement about anything. I have invested so much time into this med, I can't imagine having to switch to another. I guess what I'm looking for is people who have had the same feelings this far along with sertraline. It's been 3 months and I am so frustrated with everything.

Big change in the last 3 days (for the better)! I have not done anything different, just stayed on the 150 mg. thanks for asking

wow, that's fantastic news so very happy for you
it's unbelievable how long some of us have to wait isn't it. needless to say though, even if it is several months, it's so worth the wait isn't it, especially when we get trapped in thinking that we will never get better and will never be well again
good for you vanessa!

Is that right Vanessa, that you were on 150mg for 12 weeks? But you stuck with it and have had a good 3 days. Yay! I am happy for you. My question to you is - If I was on 150mg for a mere 3 weeks & then Dr. said reduce to 125 and then 100 due to the fact that I had some good weeks on 100. Would you think that would work - I don't!

I really don't think 3 weeks was long enough to get the full benefit from 150. Sorry I don't have any advice for what to do when you increase and the decrease.
