12 weeks on 20 mg , Advice please

I have been on fluoxetine for 12 weeks now. I went through all the horrible side effects and pushed through them. So many of them have gotten better so i am relieved about that. I am now at a point where I feel a little better from the anxiety I was feeling when I started but not a lot. I still get super anxious every time I go somewhere. I also have this irritable kinda short patience feeling everyday. I use to be a really patient person. I'm wondering if this means at this point I should raise my dose to 40? Did you feel more tired at a higher dose because I feel tired all the time already?Give if even more time? Has anybody gone through something similar and raising the dose helped? I really appreciate and advice or comments. Thanks

    Hi,

I have just read your text immediately after I sent mine.. ..We seem to have very similar questions.....

With regards to the tiredness, i feel exactly the same......But like yourself, been through the horrendous 12 wk side effects, and I suspect, like myself you dont want to disregard this hard work and real effort!

Hi Julie! i have been on 20mg for about 8 weeks now. I feel that by 12 weeks things should have settled down for you so maybe you do need an increase. i would speak to your dr.

Im currently suffering with pins and needles in my left foot and sometimes left hand (for about 3 weeks) would be interested to hear if anyone else has had this.

Tiredness in the afternoon is tough too! Especially when i sleep for 9 hours at night and shouldn't be feeling tired!!
