Hi alot of your symptoms point to thyroid. Have you had it checked. Does your heart rate come down at all and what about when you exercise. I would talk to your doctor about having blood drawn for thyroid and a scan please let me know how you make put

      HI Renee,

Thank you very much for your prompt reply.

No checks on thyriod. i will investigate with my doctor, thanks for that advice.

My typical daily heart rate fluctuations:

7:30 Awake to go to work: 130 BPM

9:30 After coffee and stress at work: 110 BPM

      13:30 After lunch: 130 BPM

17:30 Ready to finish work: 110 BPM

19:00 Weight lifting and intense excercise: MAX 160 BPM

21:00 Before evening meal: 120 BPM

23:00 After meal and relaxing before sleep: 130 BPM

Sleeping is very easy and i have no anxiety.

      no swelling in my neck.

      Thank you and best regards

Do you know how long it's been at this level? It does seem like you may have a thyroid issue. Not necessarily does your neck have to be enlarged. My sister has a hyperthyroidism. So sometimes her heart rate is fast. I have A nod tachycardia which means at times my heart rate increases also something you can talk to your doc about. I'm curious when you had your ekgs done was your bpm high over 100? The only thing that makes me think it's a thyroid issue is from all your symptoms combined.

      Hi Renee,

I will be going to the doctor today to analyse my Thyroid level.

To be honest with you i remember a time 6 years ago when i measured my heart rate it was much higher than my friends. I'm only looking into now as i have only in the last 4 months had the shaking and weight loss.

When i had my EKG done it was 2 months ago and my heart rate was ironically lower 105-110 when visiting the hospital.

What kind of treatment did your sister have? Hope you are both better now.

I will post my results on this forum today.

Once again thank you very much and have a good weekend.

Hey Jack glad to hear your going to get test done today. The treatment for my sister was basically just medication. And she changed her diet she only eats clean hardly no meat lots of fruit. We are good. And I think you will be to.

      HI Rene.

      Update.

EKG and ultrasound confirmed my heart is healthy.

130 BPM with tachycardia but no Arrhythmia.

      Ultrasound showed hetrogenous thyroid.

      Blood test tomorrow.

Now on beta blocker (atenolol) 50mg per day - very quickly helped bring my HR to 95 BPM (first time in months!)

Looks like we are getting sonewhere now.
