13 weeks on fluoxetine 40MG

@katecogs i have been on fluoxetine for 13 weeks at 40mg i have had some improvement in my mood and my mood seems to be better still dips sometimes doe but only for a 2 days or 3

but what i wondered about is i have had heart palpitations for five years have had ecg and everything came back normal so its gotta be anxiety i was just wondering would the fluoxetine stop the palpitations from happening i have started to have spells where i can only feel them the tiniest bjt but theni go to sleep wake up again and there back with avengence also i have agoraphobia and was just wondering would the fluoxetine ease the symptoms so i could socilaise again and work and will these tablets ever get me back to my olfself before all this anxiety and depresson as im on 3 months and 1 week now and i cant even get out for essentials because of my fears so someone has to do it for me

    i was on flouxetine for about 4 weeks and notice no difference , but remember it can take up to 8 weeks to reach full effect. i was like you dealing with really bad anxiety daily, i couldnt drive or work. Just keep up hope and know that you will get thru this. there is plenty of other things you can do for anxiety management i spent alot of time researching. you will be back to normal soon. best of wishes
