13 years post surgery

Had warthin tumor removed almost 13 years ago. No problems until recently feel tingling under eye and jaw cheek area on same side as surgery. No pain per say just can feel the tingle and numbness. Could this be nerves severed during the 4.5 hour surgery are just now coming back to life? Don't feel bumps or potential growths as I did 13 years ago when first discovered as a small bump on side of face. Any help greatly appreciated, I'm 4.5 hours from the major medical facility that preformed the surgery and dancing around the idea of another cat scan/MRI and go through all that again.
