Yes, 120/80 is actually the top of the ideal range. You can get an explanation of BP readings at Blood Pressure UK.

What was your BP prior to starting what is a high dosage of Losartan. What happens after the afternoon dose?

    Hi nestor,

I am also 37 years old and I get the high blood pressure spikes in the mornings at the same range as yours. I do not take any bp meds. My cardiologist doesn't know why I get them because I usually have normal to low blood pressure. Someone else told me it could be high cortisol in the mornings that causes this.

Do you get head pressure in the mornings?
