15 years old, numb hands for a few weeks with headaches

Hi guys, I am 15 years old. Several weeks ago, I began to get a tingling feeling in a few of my fingers that would come and go. A couple of weeks later, it spread to my whole left hand, occasionally going up my arm a little. I to the doctor and he said it was Carpal Tunnel Disease. I got a nerve test and i back saying that wasn't the case. The hand isn't as numb as before but I have also been getting a similar sort of feeling in my leg at times, not as bad though. I have also been getting headaches that come and go. Sometimes they stay away for several days, before coming back again. The headaches arn't too bad and it feels more like just a weird feeling in my head. I have been doing some research on the internet and have seen some conditions that worry me. A brain tumor keeps on coming up and I'm worried that it is that. Sometimes the symptoms begin to get better, but often come back after a few days. This has been occuring for a few weeks now. Please help me

Hi,
I love the Internet, mostly, it gives me knowledge beyond my dreams. But, it's not all good. A few years ago my GP said "you didn't look it up on the Internet, did you?"
These days she says"you didn't go on the USA websites ,did you?".
Whatever we have we can find on the Internet and a lot more. You may have a tumour, you may not, more likely the latter.
I did actually manage to self diagnose with the help of the Internet, including the good old USA. By tracing all my symptoms and linking with other forums and blogs I new I had cervical stenosis with spondylosis and myolepathy but it took 2 years , X rays, mris and ct scans along with nerve conductivity tests for my GP and specialists to find out the same results.
Like I said , I love the Internet but it's only a very big reference book.
Mike.

Hi, Joseph, sorry you are going through this. The only way to find out what this is is to go see a doctor about what's happening.
Though you can get practical advice and support from this site, none of us can diagnose an illness.
Please consider seeing a doctor! Best of luck to you!

I would buy a good multi vitamin supplement in case this is simply a B12 deficency or Magnesium.. I had numbness in the ends of my fingers & twitching in my legs and at one point my whole head went numb & nobody could tell me what it was! I started taking supplements and it stopped.. I got lazy with the taking of them and the twitching returned and that's when I knew what it was.. B12 in my case.
Vitamin B12 is vital for the formation of red blood cells, as well as for the proper functioning and health of nerve tissue. If left untreated, vitamin B12 deficiency, also known as B12 deficiency, can lead to anemia, as well as nerve and brain damage, which may eventually become irreversible.
