15 Years Old Penis Bumps Lots of Them!

Hi there! I am very recently 15 years old and have a problem that is bugging the hell out of me and has been for a while. Around the age of 12 was when I first noticed I have bumbs around my penis. Over the years they have increased and number and are very noticeable; I have them all around the base of my penis with some of them growing hair, I also have them all around my shaft, most prominently on the left side giving my penis a horrible rough feel and I also have around 5 on the left side of my foreskin. I would really love some advice on what they are and how I can get rid of them? Thank you!

Thank you! I have a meeting with the school nurse next week so do you think that i should ask her bout them? And if they are 'skin tags' is there a way of removing them? Thank you

If you're seeing a nurse next week, then I'd definitely ask her.  There's a good chance that what you're worried about is completely normal.

If they're around the base of the penis, they're probably just Fordyce spots or hair follicles or maybe skin tags (none of which are anything to worry about), but you could also google "bumps on penile shaft".

If you're worried, then asking your GP to take a look wouldn't be a bad idea.  If you're in the UK, you could also go to a genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic - google "GUM clinic near me" for details.  You don't need your parents' permission, and you don't even have to give your real name.

I would like to go to a GUM clinic as i dont see how i would be able to as my parents are very consipus about where i am going.

I don't know how strict your parents are, but a few GUM clinics are open on weekends, and they often don't have long waiting times, so you might be in and out in ten minutes.  It all depends on where the nearest one is, and what opening times they have.

Neither your GP nor a GUM clinic is allowed to tell your parents that you've been to see them btw.

I do believe they are fordyce spots, however from pictures I have found on the internet I have not seen any1 with as many as I have. People say that they are nothing to worry about as girls would not notice them, I strongly do believe though that this would not be the case with mine. Are there any fordyce spot treatments in the UK. Plus I will try and post some photos tomorrow.
