150mg increased to 200mg sertraline

Hi all,

I've been really anxious and depressed lately, I have been on 150mg for around 5 weeks but feel like within the last week I have hit a brick wall! I'm constantly worried that I'm going to die any second which is putting strain of me being a husband and father.

my doctor has increased my dosage today up to 200mg, I just need someone to tell me it will get better, I'm currently at my wits end.

thanks all

James

      Hi James:

my anxiety and depression both high, my my doc said continue. I am suffering. i use clonazonePAM, but only work for 3 hours.

doc don't care how you suffer. doc just test us one drug by another. i can't function well. therpyist did same and ask me to use coping skill. none of them works for me. not sure if anybody has any suggestion. thank you!

Hi James, I am sure you will start to feel better soon. is there anything that has triggered this lately. Do the tablets normally help you. you say you have been taking them for a while now so I am presuming they do? sometimes we just need to up the dose again. I have just started mine again. like a fool I came off them last year. Never again as I get anxiety really bad and its with me all the time.

    James,

Stick with it, it does get better and you'll feel well again. I've been on 150mg for at least 2 years and before I was on 200mg. Its such a horrible place to be in and it looks like there is no end but please take solace in the fact the medication has worked its only the strength your fine tuning to get back to your old self. keep going!
