16 Weeks Post Op, Still lots of pain and limping around.

Hi everyone, 16 weeks post op from a subtalar implant and gastroc recession to help a painful acquired flat foot. Pain has improved a good amount since the surgery but ever since i was cleared from the boot the pain has increased.

Foot still swelling and discolors after walking on it or hanging for awhile. Getting started to walk is the hardest part, the first steps can be very painful in my ankle but if i push through it seems to ease up. After sitting down and trying to get back up the pain can be pretty rough. has anyone experience this "cycle" so to speak during your ankle surgery recovery?

This is such a frustrating process, thank you!
