16 years old ... Migraine/Neck pain ... after Upper/Lower GI

Two days ago my son had a upper &lower GI done. When he woke up from anesthesia, he was crying in severe pain (a headache & his neck). We were discharged...come home and he has complained since of his neck/head hurting. Crying, hollering out in pain. We went to our family doctor this morning, he sent us for a CT scan of his head...and was given dilaudid by IV. His CT scan was normal. We come home with pain med (percocet), muscle relaxer and anti nausea meds.

  1. has anyone had this type of problem
  2. I'm concerned of giving him all these pain meds

    He has went thru anesthesia before & it was nothing like this what so ever.
