Well good luck, I'm 10 weeks today after lots of bone grafting and (first) revision. We are all d  ifferent, but to cheer you up, it's been sometimes painful and aching and I have needed lots of rest but today I walked, fast, to the garage to pick up my car from the menders and smiled to myself as I realised it didn't hurt!!! I really hope it will all be ok for you.

Different procedure, then. They used chopped up heads of femurs from two other people (who had hip replacements) to fill up the holes in my pelvis. I think it hurt a bit more than the original hip replacement, but not too bad. I'm (touch wood) almost pain free now at 10 weeks (yesterday). I'm 64 by the way and had my first R  THR 22 years ago. (My left one was 18 years ago and one day I'll have to have that revised, too). Dysplasia, or congenital dislocation as they used to call it.
