19 days after carpal tunnel surgery

Hi I had stitches out after 13 days. I have a numb thumb still from surgery. It's swollen and painful. Hand stiff and pain where wound is. Been told not infected but worried about thumb as never had numbness in it b4 surgery.

    Linda - I had a lot of post op issues with both hands. It took well over 6 weeks for my hands to feel anywhere near normal. Then, they were as good as new. Give the hand a chance to heal. I know how difficult it is to have patience when it involves much needed hands to get us through the day, but you should back to normal soon enough. I was getting anxious with my hands and the right hand took longer to feel 100% than the left hand, even though they were done two weeks apart.
