Im not sure where else to turn, please if you could take the time to read and respond it is greatly appreciated.

I got sick with Hepatitis A in December 2017. Ever since then I’ve been having issues. Constantly sick, not feeling well and very upset. My doctor said the hepatitisleared up ok but that’s I have a fatty liver (which I did not have before the Hep A). Recently I’ve began getting severetop of spine and  neck pain that gives me a terrible headache, vertigo, dizziness, ringing in ears, pain in ears, vision changes, TERRIBLE FACE RASH (butterfly rash), weird abdominal pains, bathroom issues (rarely solid BM, usually bad diarrhea) it feels like a chore to talk sometimes, i have join pain, muscle spasms, weakness and tingling and numbness in arms and face. I don’t know why else to do I have appointments with a GI specialist and neurologist but just reading others posts on here I don’t feel alone and I know it’s not all in my head.

Any reply helps! Thank you

It is not all in your head you are better placef than anyone to know if you feel unwell. But what I would say is that I have a condition very similar to Lupus and lead a 'normal' life now with disease management. If it turns out to be somethkng like that there are lots of meds available now to treat these conditions.

You seem to have good doctors who are listening and trying to diagnose what is going on. It is scary for you but try not to let your anxiety get in the way and make you feel worse .

Wow, they sound like scary symptoms indeed. But you are not alone, EmmaMay... please take heart.  I have had heart palpitations so I went to a cardiologist. I had severe joint pain so I went to a Rheumatologist. I had rash and fever so I went to an infectious desease internist.  Endocrinologist for hormonal fluctuations. Gastro-enterologist for bowel issues ... recently, an Opthamologist for eye inflammation and a Urologist for bladder issues. I saw a psychologist in order to assess if “my head” had something to do with my pain.  And countless tests - MRI, PET scan, untrasound, CT scan bone density scan. Suffice it to say, it is not easy to get a diagnosis. But just because it’s difficult does not mean it’s all in your head. You know that your body is not normal and you know something is wrong. I would recommend that you consider an infectious desease specialist if you have not already seen one. And has your doctor mentioned testing for shingles ( face, tingling, etc)? Please ask for and keep a complete record of all your tests in order to build your file and share with other professionals. Don’t give up - medicine is a science but there are no absolutes and sometimes it takes a great deal of research to find the source of our problems. Good luck, hang in there!!!

I have similar issues and it is from Crohn's Disease. I am low on Potassium and other vitamins so I feel run down and weak. The lower my Potassium the worse my heart beat gets. I have severe muscle spasm all over and I have had vasculitis and that is common with Lupus. I would see a rhumatologist they are the ones that diagnose immune disorders or most of them. Hang in there they will figure it out and you will feel better soon.

Yes I have had low potassium several times and it is awful. And you make a good point as emmamy should make sure she has all routune blood tests done. With auto immune conditions we need to check b12 vitd etc are all ok as we can be defficient and that can make you feel so unwell.
