1mg diazepam suddenly knocks me out after 10 months on 10mg daily dose? Please help.

Hi all,

I'm a 28 year old male, 5ft11 and 82 kgs.

I've been taking 10mg diazepam daily for about 10 months without any problems. About 2 months ago i started tapering. Starting a few weeks ago, once i got to 8mg daily, the effects got stronger and now a 1mg dose practically knocks me out cold.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Doesn't make any sense to me.

    Hmm, sounds a bit like Zopiclone that i use. If you take more than 15mgs its not as effective. I think a low dose of something can have a better effect.
