Jan 2. Had rotator repair to my right super sponatis going ok 2 1/2 wks. later no pain at all, all of a sudden. I'm worried I pulled it apart, haven't lifted anything. I'm only worries because my pt said if all of a sudden it dont hurt and moves easy then they feel worried. It was a lil painful before. But it was only 80% tore presurgery. My left soulder (Nov 2015) hurt a lot for a while same tendon but that was 2 yes ago. It was full thickness and bicep. So im compairing left to right. Also left opened up, right lopriscopic. So different procedures as well. Just worried this one is work comp, so afraid I might be screwed.
Thanks dave

If there is no pain and you didn't do anything unusual, I would not worry. when do you go back to the Dr? You could always call and ask if they will see you. Are you still in the sling/immobilizer? I'm a PT. I usually only worry if there is pain and loss of function, but I don't see too many shoulder patients because I do home health and I get the ones who are not walking for the most part. But I have had shoulder patients, and had my rotator cuff and bicep surgery last year, and I think I would be happy with no pain and improved motion. In my experience, workers comp surgeons can be very good surgeons. But the system is difficult to work within. Hope everything is ok and try to relax and enjoy the lack of pain.

I had right rotator cuff and bicep repair surgery in Aug. 2017. I started therapy a week or so after my surgery, and things were going ok, until the end of October I started having some neck pain on the same side. As time went on, my neck pain got worse; the pain would go down my arm too! I've seen a Neurologist/Spine Dr. on Jan. 3rd, and he thought the pain was coming from my neck as like my other Dr. I'm now waiting to have 2 MRI's done of my shoulder and neck, because neurologist thinks something could be going on with my shoulder, but I haven't done anything to my shoulder! I've been so stressed out and worried myself! You should call your Dr. and inform him/her to what is going on with your pain. Maybe you need a MRI. I'm also going to therapy 2x a week gor my shoulder and neck again. It helps for a hour or so, but then pain all over again! I pray that you can find out what's going on, and you get relief real soon!! Please keep us informed. Mine is also work related.

I started pt the next day. Saw Dr. Once after. Next appt. In 8 weeks. My dr. Has really good rep used to be dr. for Denver Broncos. I'm ok with less pain lol but so different from left repair. Yes still in sling. I honestly didn't even need pain meds with this one. I only took them first week.
