I'm starting to really panic now. I also suffer from anxiety is making me panic about even getting to sleep. I've tried everything and I'm to afraid to tell my parents or college support what to do. Is this normal? I'm 17 and I've always been a rough sleeper but never on this scale. Please any help is welcome as in seriously starting to breakdown and I think I'm schoolwork may be getting affected!

I am going through this now. I am 20 and just got a job and I am terrified because I haven’t been able to sleep for 3 days because of severe anxiety.

I am not new to this. It happened to me so many times. I’d go through days without sleeping at all and I’d be convinced that I will never be able to sleep again. Eventually, after one or two weeks of extreme anxiety/panic/ depression/ suicid ideation etc I’d eventually end up sleeping.

There will be a point where you will be so fed up with the suffering, that you will stop giving a f**ck about sleep, and that’s when sleep comes. When you are no longer waiting for it. Don’t try to sleep,  just live your life until you fall.
