Hi Nicole, I'm a 52 year old woman who's had 2 hip replacements in the past.

Over the last 6 months I've dislocated the same hip twice, absolutely worst pain in my life.

Now it's never been right since , and I can't do anything without the fear of it popping out again .

I did see the doctor and I'm now waiting to see the hip team.

    how awful for you nicole

i do not understand how it can pop out so easily .

is it cemented in or just your own bone ?

i hope they sort this asap so you can resume your life

    take care x

    Hey Nicole,

sry to hear about your hip. I agree a lawyer should be consulted bc that is just horrible. I'm wondering if they need to change the ball and/or socket in the hip so it's properly fitted. Not sure if you have a ceramic tip or not...

    Nicole,

What type of replacement did you have anterior or posterior, also was it cemented or not. I am sure everyone on this site sends you good wishes and hope your surgeon finds the answer to your dislocations soon.
