2 times hip dislocated

Hello all im a 36 yr old mother of 3 had my first hip replacment in 2017 then a hip revisin dec 18th 2018 then jan 7th was sitti g with my daughter eating and boom my hip dislocated very bad leg all twisted it was brutal got taken by ambulance so staying in the towns hospital for 36 hrs they finally rushed me to regina waited 20 minutes put me to sleep and popped it back i n then today at 1130 am i was sitting on my couch and bent down just a little and boom popped back out leg all twisted screaming so i slowly streched my leg and it went back in so in alot of pain. My mom says i dhould sue my dr for pain and suffering 2 surgerys that failed missed work i cant do anything with my kids or family im getti g depressed badly pls someone help me im goi g to talk to lawyer soon

    Their has too be a reason for it to keep popping out, have they done x-ray, mri etc and is it healing, have you done the exercises they tell you to do right from the first hip replacement as that is what keeps the muscles strong around the hip which keeps them in place so they don't dislocate.

    What reason have they given for it repeatedly happening

      Yes when he did the revision he gave me no hip precautions did my physio and 3 weeks after my revision i was out eating with my daughter and moved the wrong way and it dislocated badly he said this is uncommon and he didnt know why it happened hes a quack he doesnt care about my needs he never physically does an exam he argues with u looks at his phone he makes me so mad but im going to see him tom cause i cant keep living like this im supposed to go back to work in april 5th but scared something will happen again

    You should be prepared that suing will take a lot of time and effort. I would also concentrate on getting everything sorted out and find out why it is dislocating. Why did you have the revision last year?

      Was having alot of pain and everytime i moved i can feel the tendon snapping and he even said that he should have used a bigger replacement he used a small one when it should have been bigger so he did the revision and made the ball and socket bigger and he cut the tendon but see i was born with hip dysplasia so my hips were buggered for yrs plus i had 3 kids

    You poor thing. I would research the best revision specialist in your area, and get a second opinion. This should not be happening. I would document everything, but leave the legal stuff until you have things under control. I am so sorry you are going through this. big hugs

      I already had a revison i dont want surgery again ive had 4 surgerys in 5 yrs but i hate that i fear my life because if i make the wrong move it goes pop im seeing my surgeon tom im sure he will be thrilled to see me again i saw him 10 times last yr this is ruining my life
