2 weeks (14 days) after stapled hemorrhoidectomy - Regular Bowel Movements

Posted , 2 users are following.

Hi,

Its been 2 weeks since I had my surgery and everything was as per the discussions I see here. but since Yesterday I've been having regular Bowel Movements, at least 7 to 8 times a day. In each BM the amount of stools released is really low. I don't think I can go to work with this going on. Please can someone tell me if this is normal or how long will this remain?

Hi Ransika , that was definately the case with me . There was an unbearable urge to go to the toilet very often , but when I got there , it didnt feel worth all the panic and effort . I think because the passage is so tender after the op , the slightest thing makes you feel like you are about to have a large bowel movement . Good luck with your recovery Ransika .
