23 year old Female. For about 2 years I’ve had this burning tingling sensation on the left side of my head more at the top of my head, Deep in my brain. Almost like an electric shock. Occasionally it works it’s way down to the base of my head. I will sometimes feel it in different areas like the right side of my head. But mainly the left side. About 2 weeks ago, I started feeling this drunk/drugged feeling. As if I was high or recovering from a night of drinking. Now... I will add, within the past 6 months before this happened, I had finally given marijuana a chance to help relieve the burning tingling sensation/accompanied by headaches. All on the left side. and it helped some. It almost as if I’m still in that high state of mind. My friend smoked as well, but it didn’t affect her in this way at all. Then again, she wasn’t having my prior symptoms, the whole burning/tingling sensations. This feeling hasn’t gone away and has made the other symptoms I’ve listed even worse. I feel pressure on the left side of my head. I feel spaced out, dizzy, and have a lot of nausea through out the day! But, I never actually vomit. I also feel like I can’t even emotionally connect. I’ll see myself in the mirror but can’t really fully process or connect with my face. I’ve had a CT done in the past and nothing came back. So I just learned to deal with tingling/burning sensation. Well once I got this high drunk feeling. I went back, they did another CT (without) contrast, and some blood work. Everything fine. This is taking over my life. It’s constantly there, and yes I have had previous history of anxiety, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve gotten it under control. I know the difference between anxiety and something physically stopping me from feeling like a normal human being in life. Does anyone know what this could be!? Is it possible there’s something wrong with my central nervous system? Or some type of nerve damage in my brain? Could some type of nerve be pressing on certain arteries in my head? I am so desperate for answers! Could smoking have messed up the wiring? And why out of all the times I’ve smoked would it take it’s worse toll on me that night!? Like I said most of all these symptoms feel like they’re on the left side of my brain.
