I have been on Sertraline for 7 months. I have been coming off it for nearly three months, coming down around 25mg every few weeks. I was on 150mg and have stopped in the past three days. The withdrawal effects have been bad, dizzy, waterlogged head feeling, weird head pressure and sensations, anxiety. I get waves of anxiety and so I take a bit of Valium when things are bad. Doctors don’t say much about withdrawal but the symptoms can be really bad for some people. Let me know how you get on..

I've been on 200mg for almost 3yrs slowly tried coming off due to docs advice. But side effects were so bad i eventually had to give up and go back on. But im on 150 mg. But people have done it so hopefully you can too. For me was too difficult. Best of luck.

Can you tell me your symptoms trying to come off? Today I feel so tense. I have tinnitus and my head feels pressured and waterlogged. It is truly awful. 😩

Hi mark,i was on this a couple of years ago for about a yr on 50mg when i decided to wean off i did it real slow my doctor told me to skip days but that give me bad side affects spaced out feeling flu like symptoms and feeling low so i went back on them untill i felt better then i weaned down 10% for 2 wks then 20% for 2 wks or so an so on untill i was on practically nothing.. The slower you wean of the better as theres no rush and you dont want any unwanted side affects..ive been off them for months now and i feel gd..i hope this helps you..gd luck :-)
