hi mike i wouldn't increase if i was you 2months is way to early to be thinking about going up . you have said you have had improvement thats a good sign not everyone is that lucky that early . it takes months for this medication to level out on a dose and everyone's journey isnt the same . it works very slowly you dont see sometimes what its doing because all your fixed on is wanting to be better which iam sorry to say its your brain that will decide that not matter what you do . a increase will only give you more side effects and will take you longer to level . we have to accept that its a long haul journey it cannot be rushed . iam on 5 months of taking it and iam still getting side effects and not fully level but no where near as bad as i was you will look back and see the changes its happening you just dont see it alot of the time . what are you doing to help yourself in this process i know theres been alot of people on here give you some great advice. but i wouldn't increase thats for sure its way to early for that hope this helps keep strong and you will get there

hi mike yes iam on citalopram to 20mgs your doing the right things from what you have just put and i do them also i also take L' theanine 400mgs three times a day it helps with the recovery and our anxiety as is crosses the blood brain barrier look into it . also i use the dare response which is helpful and explains alot theres the book and a app you can try the app for free for a couple of weeks you tube also has alot of free stuff on dare . i also meditate and play positive affirmations and subliminals by hypodaddy all on youtude which help putting positive thoughts back in your mind . the main thing is not to focus on the thoughts and sensations let them be but dont engage with them this will help by not adding anymore anxiety on top of whats already there . as time goes on the anxiety will lesson more . what symptoms are you getting ? these things help but it is a waiting game for our brains to decide that its going to level out this medication as i said works slowly and changes are not noticed on till you go longer on the meds and realise one day oh i can do that now its strange how it all works but trust me upping the dose won't help it will make you worse again as your brain has to deal with more when it hasnt had time to level on the 20mgs . your seeing improvements so it is working you just have to trust the process iam here if you need help lloyd
