20 year ild

I had severe constipation for about 2 months as well as rectal bleeding, and severe nausea and abdominal cramps. I had a series of investigations done, such as a colonoscopy (which was failed as they could not get round my bowel) as well as a CT scan and a MRI of my pelvis. They couldn’t see anything in the scans so the gastroenterologist labelled it as endometriosis and referred me to a gynaecologist. I am losing weight, I have lost my appetite and the nausea and abdominal pains are persistent. I’m so confused as it feels like there is something really serious wrong with me but nothing showed up on the Scans? Does anyone have any opinions as to what it could be?

Hi laura, I'm so sorry for what you've been having to go through. It's good news that nothing has showed up on the tests that they've already ran, but you're right that what you're going through isn't normal either. I strongly suggest for you to see your gynecologist, because you really want to find out what's going on and the sooner the better for sure! I'm praying for you that it isn't cancer, though I'm not sure what it could be. Try to think positive and I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry too much as well, because stress can make symptoms flare up. I'm wishing you the best and would love to hear how the next tests go with the gynecologist. God bless, protect you and blessings to you <3 <3 <3
