22 weeks on 100mg zoloft.It is normal to have blips now?

how long have you been feeling this way?

I've had a couple blips and it lasted about a week, sometimes I get down moments that last half an hour or couple hours.

I believe it's a blip because I'm 10 weeks on the same dose and these days I have panic attacks and fear or probably I need to up the dose , I will give it till the refill of my med then will dicuss with my doc and see what he will advice me .

Same to you give it a week or so and try to convince yourself that it's a blip . If you reached a point which you can't cope anymore then see your doc .

The thing that makes me confused is this med is for keeping away all these feelings although it causes them at some point .🤔

Sorry but this experience is not a good one. I started 50mg Sertraline in May of 2014. 2 an half months later, stopped it in 2 wk withdrawl. I had severe diaherra, lost alot of wt (wt 120lbs. Not good at 5'3), joints hurt bad, flu like symptoms towards end, liver enzymes went up to low 50's (normal is below 30's) liver area pain or rt upper quadrant pain. Back pain. Nauseated an no appetite an had to drink Boost for nourishment. Now mentally, first 4 wks had alot anxiety an crying. But by 6 wks felt great mentally. Like the old me. If only I didn't have the physical torturous side effects, I would be on them still. I have a friend whose been on 50mg for over 20 yrs! Im also dealing with menopause. Iv tried 4 antidepressants. Sertraline,Lexapro,Cymbalta (may go back to that but withdrawls are bad)& now coming off Prozac or Fluoxetin. I have fibromyalgia. GAD an depression. Lexapro put me to sleep all time, gained wt. Can't gain due to herniated disk an degenerative disc disease in low back. I didn't give Cymbalta or Duloxetin long enough:it helped with pain! But blood pressure went up but I also broke my foot an was on Tylenol with Codiene to. Only on it (Cymbalta) for 4 wks at 60mg. No start up side effects either! Prozac was horrible! Its a slow acting antidepressant or long half life. Crying all time an anxiety out the roof. Sorry no good news here! Goodluck!

yes i believe this is just a bump in the road for you. As others have already mentioned , some down days are natural through life anyway, and us as sufferers instantly start to think the worse and make the anxiety even worse. But, it will pass, and more good times will come along quickly.
