22 years old, I think I have rectal prolapse?

Hi there, I am a 22-year-old female and I’m scared that this is abnormal. After almost every time I’m done with a bowel movement, a small amount of what I believe is my rectum flips out and I have to push it back in with toilet paper while wiping. It is not painful nor bloody. In fact, it is so mild that I’ve thought nothing of it for years.
I first experienced this at age 12, but within the last five years or so it happens almost every time I do my thing on the toilet. It does not interfere with my lifestyle at all, as it is painless and only takes a second to push in. But out of the blue this week I became concerned that need surgery for this simply because it is not normal.
I admit, I strain often on the toilet. I almost always “push” my bowel movement out of my system just to get it over with. I rarely have constipation, but my diet doesn’t consist of much fiber, so my stool isn’t as soft as I think it should be. Could this “flipping” be prevented with Kegel exercises and a diet high in fiber? Or will I need surgery to fix this simply because it isn’t normal?

I am not an expert but what i find truly effective is increase your fluid intake or drink water as much as you can provided you don’t hv any medical issues that need fluid restrictions.
You can also have a warm water on a bucket or steam your rectal area while you put back that rectal flips you have then you could apply ice cube as tolerated. You could return it with ease, right? I believe you would only need surgery if it’s bleeding and so loose that you are uncomfortable already. Increase your natural fibre intake. Cabbage is known as the intestinal broom. Better the natual way than laxatives or surgery. Of course, medical consultation is always top priority. All the best.

Hi
Sounds like you have a rectum prolapse, it may require surgery. 🤔

I have found that taking Spirulina helps so much with bowel movements. I started taking it originally to see if improved my energy which it didn't, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it made bowel movements that were sometimes difficult, easy. It also has a lot of other good things going for it. You might want to do a search and see if it's something you might want to try. My doctor approved it when I told her about it.
