23 year old seeing black spot in left eye when moving it

Hi, I am a 23 year old. I've been seeing a black spot in my left eye when moving it or my head quite often. It's been going on for a little while. I've never had this kind of problem before and do not have vision problems in general. I do not wear glasses or contacts. It seems to be a problem with the that eye and not my left visual field because I've never noticed it with my left eye covered and looking out of my right eye. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?

When I say "black spot in left eye" I mean in my vision, not in my actual eye.

It's called a floater if it floats around your field of vision. These become more common as we get older. If it's stationary it could be a tear of hole in your retina. Even though you don't need glasses or contacts you should still make an appointment to see an ophthalmologist and get a thorough eye exam to rule out any problems. Keep us posted!
