have you ever had an endoscopy? If your ECGs are normal, there could be a chance you have something like a hiatus hernia, oesophagitis, gastritis or possibly even pancreatitis.

have you had a d-dimer blood test? Are you having any issues with your breathing?

This could be stress related, particularly as you are now understandably very anxious about the cause and what could happen. Discuss your anxiety with your doctor, they may be able to help.

Oh Emma, you sound so anxious, do you think you could be focusing on your heart because you are scared of something happening to you and leaving your children alone. Maybe, having a short cause of anti depressants or a mild tranquillizer may allow you to re-focus your emotions away from you falling ill.

I have suffered anxiety for over forty years, it ruins your life and when you look back at everything missed, getting help would have made a huge difference.

Hi Emma, I can relate because for years I was stressing about my heart. After several emergency room visits, my cardiologist scheduled a heart catheterization which resulted in no problems with my heart. My main symptoms were anxiety and discomfort/minor pain under my left breast which I later discovered was radiating from near my stomach. Other symptoms I experienced were, knotting in my lower and upper intestine, burning in stomach, neck/shoulder pain, burning in left arm, and in center of chest.

I finally discovered my problem was related to my blood pressure meds which I had been taking for over 10 years. The blood pressure meds were causing major side effect with my digestion. The side effects slowly took over so I did not realize that the pain under my left breast was radiating from near my stomach was caused from taking the BP meds . I am no longer on this med and all those symptoms have stopped. So wondering if your problem could be caused by meds as well? I am now on another Bp med which seems to be causing some other minor problems but at least no digestive problems. ....working on my diet so I can improve my health. It's a journey.

I agree with others about the affect of anxiety on your health. I've also added meditation, deep breathing and massages to my health routine. ....hope you find relief soon.
