25 year old male with Lichen sclerosis

As the title states i have lichen sclerosis and well i am terrified. I have had this condition for about 3 years now and it is slowly progressing and I have recently decided to see a doctor about it because I was afraid to admit there is something wrong with me as serious as this. I would really like to hear advice about what i should do to help maintain this? I have some clear white spots on my foreskin and a little bit on the underside of my penis. My foreskin isn't tight currently but I am really afraid of not being able to do anything about this and it ruins just having normal function. I would love help on this from anyone who is willing to give advice, thank you!

Hi kev, sorry to hear about your LS try not to worry too much. The best thing to do is see your doctor and start treatment with some steroid cream if you have not already.

I got it diagnosed too recently and I am currently on a steroid creme and some emollient. It is not fun at all and it can hurt your confidence but yes the best thing is to quickly see a specialist and then continue from then on.
