2nd operation for my hemirriods

I had my first op in June, had prolapsed hemis. Had the stapling procedure. They were do bad she could barely do it. Worst recovery pain I have ever had. After about a month feeling starting feeling better. Now I still have externals they start about 7 o'clock and continue to about 5 o'clock. So just went to the dr she wants to do a regular hemirrodectomy. I an excited and scared at the same time. I have a very hard time controlling pain with narcotics. They just don't work on me like they should, it take a lot to ease my pain and if it anything like it was with the stapling OP, I an so scared

I never had externals either till after banding, now there is 1 or 2 just on the edge great!. Your not alone there, not sure why that happened since mine were mostly internal prior to the banding. I believe it's only painful after the first few BM's perhaps something like a lignocaine supository inserted prior to BM would work after the OP. I'm still trying to avoid an OP by changing diet radically... and well Sqautting doing BM now.

    Hi

Hows ur butt after the surgery?

Am considering for one but doc said it will be an open wound and there might be scars/loose skins after. Will it ever look "normal" again!

Hi, we'll I have sense had 3 more surgies. One for an abceses, than another one to put in a seton because it turn into fistual. And 4 weeks ago had the seton removed and had the LIFT operation. That's were they close off the inside of the fistual track. So I have and a roller-coaster ride for sure. Going back in a few weeks to see if the LIFT work.
