2nd surgery

3 weeks into rehab after 2nd decompression surgery. L4 5 s1 both sides. And as of yesterday I am loosing sensation on my inner thy both legs. Should I be concerned.

    Gerwyn,

    I would take it to your dr, it sounds like a nerve I have one leg with no feeling and now I'm worried about my right side, I had SCS ( spinal cord stimulator) put in and still no relief. i hope you tell your dr so he can cross things off, everyone is different so just make him or her aware.

    Pls keep updates

      I told the doctor that's on the ward today. He just up my Meds. Hopefully the feeling will come bk.

    Since loose of feeling from yesterday my legs now feel like they are full of blood and are going to explode. They also feel hard.

    Sorry can't help Gerwyn, I had L4/5 but only one side I think I don't really know what he did and must get down to asking.

    Haven't a clue sorry about loosing sensation I think I wiould ring the surgeon up and ask him.

    Hope you get on and the op will be succesful.

    Well I finally get to see a doctor this morning after a weekend of worry.

      Still waiting to see the doctor. But I phoned the hospital that I had the surgery done this morning. To say the least I am getting some looks from the staff on duty today. I will let you know the outcome as soon as I know.

      OMG can you belive I am still waiting for the doctor to see me. I phoned the hospital that I had the surgery done this morning. So they have phoned the hospital that I am in now. It's not a nice atmosphere here. Don't think they like it because I have gone over their heads. Having very little conversation just funny looks wen they pass my room and lots of whispering. With not having any sleep all the Meds that I am on. Think I am getting paranoia to start. Lol. But I can't sleep can't eat feeling sick. I am not in a good place. I have bn thinking it my be the brain and spine fluid leaking again. Just need answers now.

      Brain spinal fluid wouldn't go to your legs, but you would have a hell of a headache when you sit up.

      It's your mind playing tricks, and you're thinking all sorts of things.

      Not surprised, you should have been seen by now.

      Take it as good that you haven't. If they were really worried about you, you would have had a Dr see you over the weekend.

      Feel like ringing the hospital for you, try not to worry, easier said than done I know.

      It not brain fluid I just Google it. Lol. But I am thinking all sorts lol. Still waiting from him to come. Don't know wat else I can do except sit and wait.

      It's because you're just sitting there that you're worrying so much.

      I've had a CSF leak and it didn't go to my legs, lol!

      It's after bank holiday as well so Doctors will be really busy.

      Yer I know your right. I just need to chill. All my physio has stopped until the doc has bn too. :-( haha I am feeling ok now.
