now on week 2 10mg and i have no appetite whatsoever and feel absolutly shocking for most of the day, i only start perking up a little in the late evening , i know i need to eat but its easier said than done , does anyone have any ideas how to gain appetite again

celexa is one of the meds that as soon as your anxiety levels your appetite will return.celexa has a side effect of making you crave bad carbs.

Hi James/week 2 is like just starting ,you will get your appetite back soon,and remember you will need to be on them for approx 8/10 weeks

8-10 weeks like this seems like such a long time as im only just on week 2 and i feel so empty spending most of my time in bed , i hope i improve before then

Don't worry, your appetite will definitely return. I've been on them for 5 weeks 3 days and I already feel better. My first week I didn't eat. I literally tried to force myself to and it made me feel panicky, almost to the point of a panic attack. Week 2 I would eat but only certain things but now I'm eating anything and everything!

Totally normal to feel bad to start with. You will think it's not going to get better or the tablets aren't working but they definitely will!

i'm looking forward to it, i have actually been on celexa before for a couple of months and had problems with my old job working away and trying to get appointments at the doctors , stupid me must have believed i was ok and didnt need them, looks like i am going through the whole process again now, i wont make that mistake again for sure

Day 16 for me and I am exactly the same. My appetite has slowly started to come back in the last few days.
