3 bulging discs in left side, but feeling pain in right!

In September 2011 I was in a quad bike accident and I came off the bike at a high speed and landed on the right side of my back/hip with my friend land on top of me aswell. I had severe bruising and struggled walking for eight weeks later. My right side of my hip instantly became numb and I was put on Tramadol and told it was a soft tissue injury.
8 months later I saw a trauma specialist and he sent me for physio and I attended for two month, which it didn't get better and my physio lady told me that I won't get my feeling back. It's numb to touch but I get constant pins and needles and weird shocks going through my hip area down to my right buttock.
With ongoing problems a year and a half later including, really bad lower back pain and if I stand for longer than an hour I get sharp shooting pains down my back and legs. I finally got to see a spine specialist who sent me for an MRI scan. I received the results today and it was showing that 3 of my discs were black (no hydration). Also it showed those 3 disks bulging into my nerve but into the left side of the nerves, which has baffled my specialist.
Has anyone else experienced this? And what conclusion did they come to?!
I have been prescribed Pregabalin to take for 6 weeks to see if that will ease the pain.
I can't understand why it's showing my disks in my left side and getting really bad pain down my right!!!

least help you now. Ask your Dr for Amitriptyline to take at night and diazepam for day and night on top of the
tramadol. You really need to demand surgery but these meds should keep you going up until then. I can't
even begin to tell you how much they helped me and what a relief . Good luck and remember that we pay
taxes into the NHS so they need to be pushed to help. I found that I had to practically stalk my GP to get the
surgery. Melanie
