3 days after band.. Can't go to the toilet

Hey guys I was just wondering if anybody has same problem, I'm 3 days post op for banding now.. I still haven't been able to go to a number 2.. I'm still full of wind and I'm walking about taking windezze but I know it's because I haven't had a number 2.. How long was it till u guys went ?

    I think I was day 4. Just make sure you drink plenty

    It sucks doesn't it!

    I was about 7 or 8 days!!

    Try adding benefibre powder to your liquids and that seemed to really help! Or maybe for me it was the threat of a suppository!!!! Haha

    Haha thanks guys.. I been out walking hoping that would realise some of the wind and help me so fingers crossed..

    I think it was probably about a week before I went. In the end I got some lactulose which I used for a couple of weeks. Seem fine now, 6 weeks post op.

    Wind last around a week. I want after 5 days using senna leave. Coz ur not eating n on liquid n purée foods. U won't go often until u start eating solid which is 6th or 7th week. Good luck

    I'm 3 days post op too...not been either, drinking lots, trying to have fibre foods...hope it happens tomorrow. Have you been yet? Did you need medication or did it just happen?

    I was day 6 and omg I thought I was having a fit on toilet lol I was shaking the lot lol

    Oh no!!!! Am hoping for movement tomorrow....wish me luck....when you're sore you don't want to strain!
