3 days of rib and chest pain!!!

Posted , 3 users are following.

Good afternoon everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me. On Thursday morning I woke up with pain in my left shoulder, back and ribs all on the left side.. When I take a deep breath in its so painful on my left side :-(. I have spent the last 2 days in my bed in agony and feeling really sick!. When I roll my left shoulder back there's crunching and popping (don't know if that's muscle or bone) but sounds awful. It's now this morning spread to my front rib and chest area.

I'm hoping someone can tell me I'm not alone with this and any tips on how to ease it or help it go away.

Thank you x

    Hi Aimee,

I'nm so sorry to hear you are in so much pain.  Have you ever been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, if so it could be a flare up, but to be honest, I think a visit to your GP would be advisable.  Maybe you have pulled a muscle or something and they will probably send you for an Xray.  Good luck, I hope you feel better soon. x

Hi, yes I was diagnosed with fibro in January 15 after a year of lots of different tests. I will definitely be phoning my gp in the morning. I've had flare ups many times but nothing like this. I haven't done anything to injure myself either. Al just have to get threw today with pain killers and I will phone in the morning. Xx
