Anybody experience head burning ? And upper back pain ? Also not feeling myself at all.. Having really bad headaches is this common with mono?

    Hi Emma, sorry for your pain & discomfort..I'm with you..I had bad headaches in the back of my head and my scalp burned and hurt also..i don't get as many headaches now so hopefully yours will subside soon! Wishing you wellness! Lecasco

    Hi Emma,

    So sorry to hear you're still getting these awful headaches - I really hope and pray they will go away, I will keep you in my prayers. It certainly is normal not to feel yourself during mono, and of course if you have started the other medication you mentioned then that might make your head feel a bit funny too for a few weeks until your body is used to it, but that side of things definitely does settle.

    Still thinking of you and I do believe headaches can be part of normal course for mono, have seen a lot of people post about having those but then they have went on to make a full recovery after that - so there definitely is hope. Thinking of you Emma, just hang in there and take things slowly and just concentrate on resting and being kind to yourself - there is nothing to beat yourself up about, you are going to get better most definitely I believe that.
