Hi all

please find attached photos.. baby is having red blisters coming on and sometimes pus or watery substance coming

We tried steroids , antibiotic topicals nothing helped..

we had appointment with Dermatologist and he said it is psorisis ... we are really broken after hearing this.. no one in either one of our family has this condition so for sure its not genetic.. Doctor only took look for 2 -3 minutes and concluded it as Psorisis.. he never give more than 2-3 minutes per patient...

do you think it is ? or is it just an eczema ?

psoriasis can be also successfully treated with light therapy. ask your derm for more info regarding the different types of light treatments available. also laying out in the sunshine not hot sun but indirect dont want to burn . start in small increments daily. sunshine exposure on p. skin forms vitamine D which heals psoriasis.

i have had psoriasis since a child and there are many treatments to help. try sunshine and light treatment under your derms care of course. also some creams for psoriasis available can be used with occlusion ( cover skin applied with psoriasis cream with clear wrap and tape around the area to seal in the area for overnight treatment 2-3 night per week), allowing the cream to penetrate the skin tissues deep below the surface where p. starts. also rx creams used for the face are very different than prescriptions creams for psoriasis on other areas of the body. psoriasis is a immune disorder which can be treated successfully. see more info on patient info.
