keep going. I know people who have had blips setbacks and stuff 22 weeks into sertraline it did settle eventually but it can take more than 6 months to be back to 100 percent. if you feel an increase will help go for it but wait to see if it passes for you 😊 x

Hang in there Sandra. You will get there. It's awful when you feel teary and hopeless but we are all rooting for you. The key is to try and let go and ignore the symptoms. This is so difficult when you are swamped 24/7 i know. The more you fight the symptoms, the more difficult it is to recover as you are constantly searching for answers and the cure. You try medication, exercise, yoga, diet changes. All this can help but ultimately recovery comes sooner when you accept the symptoms and get on with life. This worked brilliantly for me recently. I'm now going through another bad period but i know that it is only me preventing me from getting better.

    hi Sandra

Looks like you may need a change of med. My son had a bit of relief than it went downhill too. I dont know what the gp will recommend next. 😒 A good cry does release tensions and stress. why did you stop the previous med? Chat with us, you may feel better. i know, the docs just feed us meds, but if its for their mom or dad, i think they will think again and again. i am sure there are ways to recover but not available to us.

The old you is still there. Underneath all the distressing symptoms, you’re there. The calmer your nerves become, the more glimpses you’ll get of the old you. You’ll realise you were there all along. You haven’t lost yourself, it’s just temporary. Recovery is real
