3 months post hysterectomy with horrible pain after sex

I had my hysterectomy, everything but ovaries were removed 3 months ago. Ive had sex 3 times and every time after, i have extreme crapping and gas pain. So severe I have to call off work. This pain lasts about 2-3 days then starts to calm down. One time I had a UTI but think that was due to catheter since i didnt have sex. This pain is horrible and seems to be after sex. I do bleed while having intercourse but dont continue. Everytime I ask my surgeon or physician they tell me it can be normal. This shouldnt be normal in my opinion. Will I ever be able to have sex again without this pain? Im really worried.
